| Metalco Ltd has been in operation since 1988. It operates as an offshoot of Fenech & Cremona. Originally the firm was started by the late Anthony Cremona right after World War I where Antonio Cremona started recycling hides, glass and metals, which were exported to Italy. At that time, the company's name was Malta Scrap Iron and Metal Company. |
